Navy Strength Dark Rum – Union Distillers

A full bodied strong Caribbean Dark Rum at 57% (ABV) Alcohol by Volume. This Navy Strength style of Rum was issued as a daily ration to the sailors of yesteryear. The 57% alcohol content was essential on war ships, as at this strength if accidently mixed with gun powder, would not render the powder useless. Anything less would reputedly stop the powder igniting.

Refill Volume: 700ml with 57% ABV.
