We introduce to you, the first labels in our Nose Art collection, starting with the legendary Curtiss P-40 Warhawks. These are both Open Labels, meaning you can pair the label with any of our available liquor batches and liquor types when refuelling.

"Shark Mouth"
|
|
With this label we celebrate the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk with the iconic Shark Mouth nose art of the legendary Flying Tigers.
|
|
|
"Burma Banshee"
|
|
With this label we celebrate the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk with the very destinctive Burma Banshee nose art.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Both P-40 Warhawk labels will go on sale to the general public on Thursday April 29th.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
This corn liquor is produced following a traditional bourbon or American whiskey recipe. A corn, wheat and barley mash is distilled after fermentation and then matured in new American oak casks for eight months.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

1908 - Theodore Roosevelt, Jr. accompanied by two officers made balloon ascent lasting 4 hours 30 minutes.

1912 - Englishman Denys Corbett Wilson flies across St.George's Channel between England and Ireland.
|
|
|
|
|
1921 - Secretary of the Navy and other officials witness launching of first Aeromarine Navy civilian flying boats on Potomac River at Washington.

|
1962 - Jackie Cochran set 18 FAI records in one day flying a Lockheed L-1329 JetStar, construction number 5003, FAA registration N172L, and named The Scarlett O’Hara.
|
|
The route of her flight was New Orleans–Boston–Gander– Shannon–London–Paris–Bonn, with refueling stops at Gander and Shannon. According to the U.S. Centennial of Flight Commission, Jackie Cochran “… set more speed and altitude records than any other pilot.”
|
|
|
|
|
1971 - Britain and France give the go-ahead for four more Concordes, bringing the total to ten.
|
|
|
|
|
1985 - Pan Am sells its Pacific division to United Air Lines for $750 million; the deal includes all Pan Am's Pacific routes as well as its complete fleet of long-range Boeing 747SP's, half its Lockheed “TriStars” and one McDonnell Douglas DC-10.

A small single engine aircraft is waiting at the runway holding point, ready to be cleared for take-off after a very large four engine aircraft on final approach has landed.
|
As the large aircraft passes the small aircraft just prior to touch down, the pilot of the large aircraft sarcastically remarks on the radio;
|
“Oooh, what a cute little aeroplane you fly, did you make it yourself?”
|
As karma would have it, he then proceeds to execute one of the worst landings of his career, to which the pilot of the small aircraft remarks;
|
|
“As a matter of fact, I did build it myself, another landing like that and there will be enough aircraft parts lying around for me to build another!”
